easter  -  2025

  • maundy thursday  -  Thursday, april 17    7:00pm

In the Christian church, the service of Maundy Thursday begins the great days of the Easter celebration. We remember Maundy Thursday, Good Friday and Easter Sunday. These are days to remember the final actions of Jesus Christ in His saving work for His people.

This simple service of Scripture readings and holy communion that help us to understand the significance of this special night. Enjoy the rich message of God’s Word, knowing God loved the world so much, that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life.  (John 3:16)

  • easter breakfast  -  Sunday, april 20    9:00am

Come one and all! Join us in the Fellowship Hall as we hold our annual Easter Breakfast. As is our tradition here at Hope Church, the men of the congregation will come together to prepare and serve a wonderful breakfast on Easter morning of pancakes, eggs, sausages, fruit, coffee, orange juice and warm smiles! Bring the whole family. Bring your neighbors. Bring your friends.  Let's enjoy a meal together to celebrate Easter and the Risen Christ.

  • the living cross  -  sunday, april 20    10:00am

You are invited to celebrate Christ’s Resurrection by participating in The Living Cross. We invite you to cut flowers from your yard or purchase flowers and bring them to church Easter morning. Before our Easter worship service, you’ll be invited to come to the front of the church and place your flowers in the wire of the cross. Symbolically, the cross is transformed from a symbol of pain and death to one of life and beauty before our eyes. Children and adults alike will see the cross in a new way!  Come and be blessed with His Presence.  Flowers will also be available at church.

  • easter worship  -  sunday, april 20    10:30am

If Christ has not been raised, then our preaching is in vain and your faith is in vain.   1 Cor. 15:14

As Paul explains in the verse above, the resurrection of Jesus is the cornerstone of the Christian faith. The resurrection is the very thing Christians gather to celebrate every Sunday, but even more specifically on Easter Sunday. Join us this Easter Sunday as we gather together to celebrate the resurrection, victory and hope of Jesus. The music will be alive, the message will be relevant, and your heart will be encouraged.
